I think charging a couple bucks for a CDR of a game is okay...but charging different prices based on the games OMG RaRE!!!11!! is retarded [not that you said anything about that....just saying] I've bought a few CDRs of PCE games I was sick of hunting for ISOs of in the past. But I think I paid $3 shipped for each. I don't play CDrs in my Duo if I can help it though. I think the only CDR I've had in there in the last year was the english patched Ys 4.

I avoid them like the plague otherwise.

Sorry to hijack, but what is up with some games not comming with a case, like Neutopia 2 and this one, does anyone find it annoying that there is no easy way to store such games?

i actually have this! BOXED! I know I know....I've played this quite a bit actually. Putting is the BEST. It switches to a over-the-shoulder 3rd person view and you throw shurikens at the dragon gaurding the hole [as stated, but repeated for emphasis]. Awesome. I may have to hook this up tonight now...

ebay is probably your best bet....i have a feeling everyone here who has it has a "from my cold dead hands" mentality about that game. I know I do. ;)

I think Ys 3 on the Turbo kinda' blew. Its still great though if for nothing other than the soundtrack and cut-scenes.

That said, Oath in Felghana is awesome! Definitely recommended for Ys fans.

It took me soo damn long to get this damn patch to work right CDRwin just wouldnt work right for me, finally with mero it came out flawless.  I got it right abotu two weeks ago but I refuse to play it.  I just got Ys 3 and I am stuck on Darm in ys book 2.

Am I an idiot for wanting to play throguh them all in order?  Do they follow any kind of linear story or are they all different.  Just wondering caseu book 1 and 2 is my fav rpg ever.

you could totally skip 3 in my opinion. 4 picks up where 2 leaves off anyway. 3 is kind of a side story almost, giving Adol something to do for a couple years. They are all good though....but if you are coming off of 1 and 2 and want the awesome level to continue up....move onto 4. 3 disappointed me when it came out. I appreciate it though. Oath In Felghana makes it right if you ever get a chance to play that.

I friggin LOVE this game!!!!!!!

Currently in Romun Castle...probably a little more than halfway through it. So great. I've played some of the newer remakes Ys 1 and 2 eternal...most of Oath in Felghana [stuck at the moment] and Ys 6 Ark of Napishtim on PS2 [which was really good], but THIS ONE has got me glued to the screen. Great art, awesome levels and great boss fights. So glad I am finally getting to play this. I just wish I knew what the hell they were saying in the voiceovers.

I'll be sad when this one is finished.

DoEs anyone have any screenshots to see what the screen looks like lit up?  I am curious if this is a better wayt to go than PSP I only use my psp for emulation and rarely play real games for it, but I must say that the psp has a decent battery and a great screen.  Can anyone share the comparison fo these 2 side by side?

I ditched my PSP about 6 months after launch....tried the emulators....the ghosting on the screen made me want to rip my eyeballs out. Drac X ran okay on it though.

I agree, I think the bonus levels in the Genesis version "pop" a little more...but the game still feels a little empty in comparison...like an imitation.

PCE version is by far my fave.

I got further last night. to the second boss I guess? The fact there is no breathers between levels is killing me. I don't think I breathed or blinked for 10 minutes at a time. Had to have my girlfriend spray saline into my eyes to keep them moist.

It looks like there are only 6 levels in Dragon Saber...is this right? I got to level 6 this weekend...pissed me off so much. You barely come close to those crystal spike things and your dead....VERY frustrating. I got to the boss though....if I play it again I will probably beat it. Just curious if there is more after level 6??? [I hope so]

Dragon Saber is one of my most favorite HuCards. When folks dismiss HuCards, this game is usually one of the ones I recommend (it's cheap, easilly available, and ROCKS!)

While I love Dragon Spirit, Dragon Saber really improves things.

meh, I won't get one purely because I enjoy the hunt for games almost as much as playing them. Honestly....I did the GBA flash cart thing. I did the downloaded Dreamcast games things....totally takes the winds out of whatever sail that system was for me. I do NOT want to get burned out on PCE games. Plus, most Hucards can be had for reasonable prices....save a few [Magical Chase as was mentioned] like various show exclusive shmups that are only like one level anyway. I'll stick to the real deal.

While I am tempted by the new PCE flash cart....I am passing on it. I like the anticipation of getting a game in the mail I've never played and popping it in for the first time. What fun would it be to get Terra Cresta 2 having already played it?

Still cool though...but I am happy with my HuCard collection as it is to be honest. Been on a bit of a craze as far as buying goes lately. Still a good handful of CD games I need though.

Played this non-stop tonight....finally gave up on the level 5 boss. [I coulda' beat him....but my eyes were hurtin':shock:] I love this damn game!

I like the addition of new dragon powerups and charge blasts.

What's funny is I just got God Of War on my PS2 recently...and while it is awesome....all I can play is my PCE

Soldier Blade in complete/good condition should be around $40. I bought mine in MIB for $45 off ebay two years ago. Now a days on ebay there like $60+ which is ridiculous, even on YHJ.

You might want to try around Game Trading Zone. There is one person there with a complete Soldier Blade.

You can get a complete PCE copy from over-priced sellers IN JAPAN for less than $40 before shipping costs. I think one could be had domestically for much less if someone is wanting to get rid of it.
