Horrible game, I wouldn't pay $20 for it.

That's a freaky picture Nulltard, potentially nightmare inducing...

On Bonk...

thx for sharing!

Science is great. Remember when people died really young before science?

I'm up in Canada and my family doesn't pay a goddamned thing for health care. I wouldn't say our wellbeing has been compromised in anyway, and I certainly don't have a problem paying taxes to make sure people are looked after, the roads are repaired and kids receive a decent education.

I worry for my American friends who are going to lose their health care, it's no way to live as a human being. It's not a left or right thing, it's about not being an asshole and looking after others. When I visit the USA, there's an aura of desperation that I don't feel in Canada, Europe or Oceania. I don't blame people, being one misfortunate accident away from bankruptcy or foreclosure.

I think Trump has truly duped people into believing that he'll actually look out for them. He is an egomaniacal billionaire, with an awful business record. He doesn't give a shit about your jobs, your border or your well-being. Being president is a hobby for him, something he can add to his list of achievements, and as if he wanted the job to begin with. He's filled the swamp with science denying billionaire pals who could give a fuck about you, Zero-Gamer.

The next couple of weeks are going to be a political blood bath. When our ex-conservative prime minister cast doubts on his ability, I worry. Harper was a neoliberal, through and through. Trump doesn't have a clue what he's doing and I hope there's enough resistance down there to keep that shit-show in check.

Awesome game, one of my faves!

Just played through B.A. last night. Couldn't beat king drool, but also noticed how excellent the tunes are in his castle!
#13
One of my faves is the skull elevator in B1, followed by level 1-1. Chip tune perfection did an excellent job at setting the tone for the series.

All i want for christmas is a BONK RPG

Did anyone score one today? I totally shit the bed and didn't think people were actually going to be lining up for the thing. Boy was I wrong!

Your electoral collage is like out first past the post system. They're both outdated and don't perform in modern day politics the way they were designed to over a hundred years ago. There's a movement up here to bring in proportional representation, which would give the other parties a chance as well as making sure people are voted in according to the number of actual ballots cast. Modern day democracies have caught on to this long ago, it's a shame it's taken so long in the west.

As an aside, I wonder if all those angry alt-right turds have figured out that electing a bigot still won't get them laid.

The entire Future album is a banger.

Those dudes are brutal at Splatterhouse.

It's true, if they had've released SF2 in the US, it would've been huge for the system. Fighting Street was an embarrassment when trying to sell the TG to friends. A Bonk pack in, definitely. Bad cover art, yup. It was definitely a time when these things mattered. However, like the 2nd weezer album, I'm almost glad that it remained underground. Made the system that much more important.

Quote from: TurboXray on 09/08/2016, 01:21 AMInteresting fact (which Black Tiger brought up a few years back IIRC), is that the CD one has less animation frames for the super sized bonk. Guess they couldn't fit it all into CD memory.
That is interesting!

(and the hatred grows..)

Bonk 3 is a goddamned disaster. Awful. Just awful. My dislike for the game has actually continued to occupy a small part of my brain ever since I first laid eyes on the lazy animation and uninspired levels. For some ungodly reason. Burn it to the ground.

Hahahahaha

This is pretty amazing, wonder if he'd drop the MC bomb on that turd who's been listing a boxed copy on ebay for 100K these past few months

I've got a spare collecting dust in my attic. PM sent!
#27
Wow, there it is! Nice dig bud!
#29
Nice! Thanks, just checked him out. Super entertaining!

That's pretty sweet man, nice dig!

I grew up in the Yukon Territory and there were two places that rented out TG games, a local video store and good ol' Radio Shack. Many a Friday afternoon spent in that radio shack choosing a game for the weekend or ordering something to buy. I still remember Bonk's Revenge coming in... I was so stoked that I'd brought my Express down so I didn't have to wait to bring it home to play it. I also remember the video store blowing out all there games in 96 or so, and buying Gunboat and Impossimole for $5. Whoops.
#33
Sick bud, sign me up
#34
I agree!
#35
I think I have an extra turbo vision kicking around somewhere. If I find it, I'll let you know!
#36
Fuck, if I had any skills I would make a new Bonk. Or at least try to finish the RPG one. Somewhere in a landfill, there sits a file...
#37
Tight! How did you get it? It's not something that's still available is it?
#38
Anyone ever played this? I guess it was a mobile game, never figured out how to get it. Maybe it wasn't available in Canada?

RIP B.BOE

That would've been badass!

Quote from: Duo_R on 02/01/2016, 11:58 AMI used the Terminator 2 soundtrack to play Bloody wolf. The music overpowered the regular music. It was awesome.

Quote from: Keith Courage on 01/31/2016, 03:17 PMthis would be cool. I remember when I was younger I would always take a music CD of some sort and play it along with any of the TV sports games since none of them had any music except for on the title screen.

Booya! Nice one :)
#41
I got mine for Chirstmas and was turbo-bummed it wasn't a nintendo. Little did I know that over the years, I'd enjoy it way more than the nes/snes/genesis.

Website's down?
#44
Who remembers seeing it go for super cheap on TZD back in the day?
#45

It didn't age very well. Loved it as a kid, threw it in the trash last week.
#47
Dibbs on second! I am willing to give my firstborn as well as a sealed copy of Gunboat for this great game.
